Recently we again went to the Tango Restaurant & Cafe. Conveniently located at Piata Mica, one of the two major squares of the city, you can enjoy besides good food also the medieval scenery of Sibiu.
Seating
The restaurant itself sports an outdoor area (heated at winter-times) + indoor seating area. Service is very friendly (English-speaking as well) and the menu holds something for everyone.
Menu
Why not starting e.g. with some nice soup and continue your meal with either a nice chunk of meat, fish or noodles. If against all odds you are not able to find something to your liking on the menu, you still have the option to order your pizza from next door and get it delivered to your table. Pizza by tango is a small ship, which offers some seating space outside and also makes home-deliveries.
Let’s move on to the dessert (if you are still ready for it, as the portions in the Tango Restaurant are rather on the large side and will definitely not leave you feeling hungry). Of course you can select some fruits, but we personally very much like Tiramisu cu fructe de padura, which is Tiramisu with wild berries (among other desserts).
Summary
A nice restaurant in the center of Sibiu with a welcoming atmosphere, very good food, friendly service and always promising a relaxing time.
